Trust Research and Development Lea
I am passionate about providing the absolute best for all children to ensure their lifelong success.
My dedication to supporting the next generation began in my teens when I coached sports for children aged three to six. After this, I worked in language schools, supporting those who learn English as a foreign language and volunteered as a teaching assistant across three schools in my local area, further nurturing my commitment to education.
I began my teaching career in Nursery and Reception before moving into Key Stage 1. Eventually, I transitioned to Key Stage 2, where I currently teach. This progression has been instrumental in my professional growth, ensuring an understanding of curriculum progression across all age ranges.
Within the trust, I provide coaching and support to teachers on reading, based on our established teaching and learning model. Our meticulously structured approach to reading aims to ensure success for all students. Reading provides the gateway to all learning, and it is imperative that we do everything we can to support the development of lifelong learners.
